Running so good as a daily driver

Vehicles need to be driven. I don't drive my TJ in the winter, due to the salt, and have a car that I drive everyday for my 100 mile round trip commute. When the TJ sits around, it gets cranky and sometimes will run rough for a few seconds if not started in a while. When I drive it on nice days and put several hundred miles on it in a week it runs perfect.

They make for surprisingly good daily's (once you get over the fuel MPG) and there is some reassurance in knowing that no road is "blocked"

The one thing that I found DD'ing the jeep that surprised me was HWY manner pre and post winch, for some reason (extra weight probably) the jeep calmed down and stopped trying to pick her own lane on the HWY after a winch install.

It's nice to see another person using the vehicle (car, jeep, plane, whatever) for Some reason I always get offended at garage queens.

yeah I find myself looking out the window at it alot. Sometimes I think it's looking back

Now go rev the crap out of it. I regularly take mine up to 5k RPMs when driving and they drive so much better when you actually aren't afraid to rev them up. People seem to think it will hurt the engine, but they forget the rev limiter was put there for a reason.

Much better than lugging the engine around at 2k and under, that's for sure

so true. I'm having a hard time understanding why ppl complain about the ride quality. To me it's perfect, especially the 6-spd manual on freeways. some nights, after wife and kid go to bed, I would go out and sit in it a bit, checking my phone or simply do nothing. i know it's kind of silly, but i do it.

DO NOT go to Texas, 75 is the minimum and everyone is doing 90. You try to do 65, the semis will run you off the road.
