1 might consider leaving the BL and taking 1" out of the suspension. if 1 day you ever wanted a shallower belly pan.
I have considered that! What worries me is the price involved in doing that. Do you happen to know the bare minimum requirements to shallow it up a bit?

Yes sir. When I checked in the garage at my parents a while back couldn’t find anything. I’ll check again when the snow melts away here.
Great, this is what they look like... this one is indicating 3.73 gears are inside.

From what I have read, I will need a SYE which I am not sure if the PO put one on or not. How can I tell? I am looking at a nice pro comp 2 inch lift on fb marketplace for a good deal, brand new just open box. any good recommendations on plates.

no, you do not need an SYE for 2" of lift.
do you have stock control arms or adjustable or a mix of both?
how about the track bars, are they adjustable?
do you have a spacer between the belly skid and the frame?

Thanks for your help. Good to know I will not need SYE. I am not sure about control arms or track bars. I can go take some pictures tomorrow. I do not have a spacer between belly skid and the frame. It currently has the 4. 25 inch zone combo lift on it. It says it has a motor mount on the website. Will I need to remove that also? I am looking to remove body lift soon or atleast go with a .5 inch body lift I saw @Chris talking about in another post regarding a tummy tuck and go with a 2 inch lift. This is all so foreign to me but I am trying to learn haha

the MML could stay. it's the alternative to a belly drop most times, and basically does the same job of angling the drive line down. leaving the 1.25" BL and removing the 1" from the suspension would allow you to have the ability to use a shallower skid plate, if you desired.

it's up to you where to take the height off.

Why would you remove that lift to install a 2" Pro Crap lift? Just remove the BL, relocate the fan shroud and be done with it.
