The OP is 19 yrs old and the working knowledge of cooling systems he is referring to is probably the repairs he and his father performed on the engine cooling system. You did read in the 1st post about putting the wrong type of coolant in the system which required an entire system flush ?did you miss this part. it's a 22 year old vehicle and i can tell you what they'll tell him. he needs new seals and they will need to completly evac his system after they replace the seals, and probably put in a new evap/dryer and thank you very much for the $500. it is worth trying to jumper the cheap switches that can be replaced without effecting the system charge before carrying it to a shop !
I stand by what I said about leaving A/C system work to a technician or person with the proper training.
