Who changes their own oil here?

But you were very close to all three of their capacities.
I thought you just keep filling it with oil until it starts dribbling out the fill hole?
That's only if you use a funnel and fill it through that dip stick thingie...
When my daughter was 2 and I was a single dad, I had it changed because my life was work 10 hours, cook, clean, give a bath, fall asleep reading bedtime stories, wake up at 3am, go to bed, repeat.

I change my own oil all the time. It's cool as long as you follow this advice I found on the internet.
We used to dump it onto the ground at the bottom of the driveway to help prevent washout.

Change my own diff fluid too, and transmission fluid, and transfer case fluid, and brake fluid, so there! This has got to be one of the most ridiculous threads ever.

Pretty much all engine oils contain varying amounts of zinc. I personally would not add extra zinc unless I had a high-lift cam etc. on a high performance hot rod engine.
