Will a JK track bar fit a TJ?

It will not fit. It's a different design and length.

    Message from Gerald at Savvy

Gerald had an interesting comment last week. I'm guessing it's still going to be a while.

    Recommendations for Eye Protection

I've been happy with my Lincoln face shield. It has plenty of room for my glasses, is comfortable and flips up easily. I am planning on getting a cheap set of prescription safety glasses at this years eye appointment but will still use the shield for grinding or spraying...

    SOLD Tiburon seats $150

I ran these in my LJ for several years. There in good shape and are an easy swap. I have the adapters I used for my fold and tumble bases that will go with them. Obviously these would need to be picked up as shipping would not be an option. Located just south of Tyler TX.

    Mopar Light Bar

I believe it was due to the Unlimited soft top having the Sunrider feature in 04 and 05. It looks like the directions you have are from 04. The sunrider wasn't an option for the TJ until 06.

Edit: Not just a Johnny Joint tool rental thread

A shop press works for me also. They are 15% off at Harbour Freight today 4/1.

    TJ seat foam

I think it depends on how worn out your foam is. I just finished replacing my drivers side. I had recently refreshed my seats and used the old steam cleaner trick to plump the foam back up. It was in decent shape but had the typical tear on the outside lower edge. I had glued and reinforced it...

    Help with re-gearing

When I did my Dana 30 I needed a new carrier. I used the Spicer 706008X. It worked great and came with a shim pack. It was nice to have a larger selection of shims when I did my gears.

Help ID this rim - from a YJ?

Looks like older American Racing knockoff of the Gotti J55A design. If the wheels are in good shape and you like them then there is no reason not to run them

    Front Suspension Bump

I would add some fender washers or something similar to your lower bump stops. You should try to have about 1/4 to 1/2 inch of the shock shaft showing at full bump. From your pictures it looks like your shocks are almost, if not entirely, bottomed out.

    HQ Off-Road

My front came in a nice rockjock box with everything packed in custom cut foam. I would expect the rear to be packed the same way.

    Re-gearing cost / advice

That was another motivation to do it myself. I agonized over my final patterns. I'm sure any shop would have sent it out the door as soon as they had good enough set.

    Re-gearing cost / advice

I spent about $1100 on parts and tools to do mine. This included the specialty tools required and a HP Dana 30 housing. I started on the front axle. I spent several weeks setting it up. I went slow and quadruple checked everything. Once I had it set up satisfactory I started over. I wanted to make...

Which size tire should I run?

This website will let you look at all possibilities. http://www.grimmjeeper.com/gears.html If you are going to upgrade and build axles in the next year and are happy with 33's then I would stick with them. No sense in regearing your current axles, unless you have the tools to do it yourself. In...
