Ok I know this thread beat a dead horse, but I am confused here with mine. I have a 98 TJ, and my numbers state it is a 19 gallon, but I have ran mine empty well not to where I was stranded, but the most gallons I have ever put in it were 15. And my gauge works fine as far as I know. Meaning...

So when my shows empty it takes 15 gallons to fill, but you are saying that I could shove a 19 gallon in my 15 gallon tank just in case? Will that change my fuel gauge if I actually do have a 15 gallon? Do you have suggestions on how to find out for sure?

If I read it correctly it looks like a new brake booster fixed his issue, but if you put a new brake booster on and it is still an issue read @Jerry Bransford's response a couple up. A stuck lockup converter could possibly do the same thing. Test it the way he suggests.

I put my Advance adaptors SYE in years ago, but I used Tom Woods driveline. I haven't had any issues whatsoever with the Advance adaptors. I also find that Summit Racing stocks a lot of 4x4 parts. I use them from time to time. They have a decent return policy if you have any problems.

Yep broke the CA mount on the front axle, and bent the piss our of my front driveline. I also broke my trans mount and all of my transfer case shifting linkage. It was a rough go in 2WD. I did it to myself as I had front and rear lockers, and the 4 wheel drive worked at the time. If I recall...
