    New guy with a TJ6

I did the Palisade Glacier hike a few years back and want to go back to do Whitney. Grand Canyon is on my list as well. Here in the desert, our hiking season is just about to start for the local trails anyways.

What jump box do you use?

I've got the NOCO GB40 as well. Have used it a few times and it's handy to have. No issues with it.

    2013 JK

Here is a link to my 2013 JK I have for sale. I also just listed my 06 Rubicon on here as well. As mush as I love the 2-doors, they just don't work well for our family of 7. I've done all the work myself, minus the regear. It's been an aweome Jeep, just doesn't get used like it should...

    SOLD 2006 Rubicon

Hate to sell this, but it's not a great fit for the size family we have. I'm the second owner, and bought it from a buddy back in 8/20. It was completely stock when I got it and it had just turned 200,000 miles. Current mileage is just under 207,000. All the work done since I bought it has been...

Southwest folks affected by the hurricane

We've had off and on rain in the Coachella Valley since last night. Probably .25" so far, maybe a tad more. A little windy, but nothing we aren't already used to here in the desert. The heavy stuff is supposed to start in the next couple hours and sounds like it will be here to stay until...

What did you do to your other vehicle today?

Pulled two dead batteries out of the F250. Not sure how long they have been in there, so was on the list to replace in the near future anyways.

    What vehicles do you own?

2006 TJ Rubicon 2013 JK Sport 2021 JLRU Extreme Recon 2000 F250 4x4, 7.3 Turbo Diesel 2017 Ford Expedition 2023 F150 The F150 and the 2021 Rubicon are our daily drivers. When we need to take all 5 kids somewhere, the Expedition is the only one that fits us all.

Machined and powder coated stock Canyon rims

Lookes awesome. I bought a used set of the Canyons and refinished them myself and they look exactly like yours, just not as nice. What did it cost you?

    Pressure washers: gas vs electric

Only thing I didn't do yet is do a swivel on the hose end of the gun. That will be my next upgrade.

    Pressure washers: gas vs electric

I just got a 50' Uberflex hose for my electric pressure washer. Have used it twice now washing cars and it's so much nicer to handle and way less frustrating than the hose that came with the unit. I also got a stubby gun and that too is way less cumbersome. This hose is plenty long enough for me...

    Teraflex Ball Joints

Has anyone else had a problem with the provided adjustment wrench not fitting the adjustment nut on the lower ball joint? Trying to adjust mine for the first time and sure seems like it should be a simple task, but on mine the wrench keeps sliding off. I've got the set screws loose and Jeep is...

    California SoCal MiniFest 2023

I'd be interested. I haven't gotten out much the past couple years just because life got busy, but it's not far for me to get there, and I'm ready to get back out and do some exploring. If you ever want to come out to check out some of the trails hit me up and I would love to tag along, as it...

Triple A and when did they get so very terrible?

I've been a member for 5 or 6 years. I haven't had to deal with them on any roadside assistance, but my way of justifying the expense is it keeps me from having to go into the DMV offices. I've bought and sold quite a few vehicles since I got the membership and every time to the AAA office has...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Finally finished replacing most of the AC components. Compressor locked up and between replacing parts and flushing the rest, hopefully I got anything out of the system that might have been there. Started the project 6 weeks ago, but with work, kids, and some traveling, just now had the time to...
