Don't waste your time or money on aftermarket radiators

I came very close to making cooling system mistake. Ordered a Chinesium 3 core, all aluminum rad. Checked wermopar.com while waiting on shipping. My local dealership came within $30 of mopar's price for an OEM 4.0 Manual radiator and didn't add a shipping charge. Long story short; a quick...

Nope. Just get heli-dropped on the NP side and ride back. Lol

That's a serious ride. I did Girdwood to Seward once. It sucked and we were overloaded. S&W 500 strapped to the chest didn't help.

You're right. 2 hours and 25 minutes... hard to go there to ride when the jeep trails are so good. I had the same issue in Moab and Anchorage. Couple hour drive with the intention to ride but end up wheeling.

    More mountain biking

I just found this thread. Unfortunately, I'm stationed in Goldsboro, NC where trails for either hobby are nonexistent within a 3 hour drive. 2020 Trek Fuel EX-8 next to the 2006 LJ. I also ride a Niner Air-9 XC racer that was built to climb Utah trails.

Why can't we conceal carry on a military installation?

We're authorized to CCW her at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. Partly due to the areas surrounding the base and partly due to our Wing Commander's innovative, common sense approach. It's not a complete victory as we are still required to secure weapons in locked compartments inside the vehicle while...

Can I get an opinion on some frame photos?

Let me look; I'm new here too.

Where at in NC? If this has a hard top with Yakima rails and a double din stereo, I may have seen it in on my FB Marketplace. I might be able to look at it in person before you commit to a 9 hour drive. I'm in Goldsboro.

Anyone know if they still make replacement shift boots?

Auto zone carries one that fits and usually in stock at their stores. I just saw in on a kids jeep where I work. He needed to make up the gap from his "high-end" 3 inch body lift. The boot looked good, though.

    Ford 8.8 Axle Swap

While it's stil a C-clip axle, is is technically stronger than a 44. If that thing has tj mounts welded on already, I'd be all over it; bonus if it has the limited slip. I did the swap on my old 2004 and the instant brake and 4.11 upgrade was awesome. I pulled the front drive shaft until I could...

Asking $13k but I'll make a fair offer to come in around $12k after sales tax and NC's ridiculous highway use fee which is well over $200. It has a budget 3" lift (springs not spacers), 33" A/Ts, Brand new besttop/soft top, Barricade flat fenders and rocker armor. It Blue-books at $11.2 in prime...

***UPDATE: I was finally able to look at the above Rubi last night. The frame was in good shape and the body was ok. The suspension is a frankenlift long-arm with massive control arms that were nearly parallel to the ground. The rear axle is a Currie Rock-Jock 60 and the front was an unknown...

Exactly. Unless the previous owner blew them out. I hope to see it up close tomorrow.

That's what I was thinking and could be the reason behind the cable locker. Thanks!
