    This has always been my long-term plan (both on my prior TJ and now the LJ), unfortunately my PCM shit the bed and won't even start the jeep any more, so I had no choice since it's my DD and I don't have the time/resources to convert it yet. Good luck on that LS swap!

    That is roughly the same as they were quoting me yesterday (it might've been $542 instead of $562 I don't remember exactly).

    Using a different PCM than the original OEM? I mean, it may end up being a scam, we'll see and if so I'll be paying for it later. If not I might have a long-term solution that holds up better than the other remans. /shrug

    You're correct, it's a used PCM as well - I didn't phrase it properly, i meant a new solution versus the same PCMs everyone else is selling.

    The WranglerFix one - I had debated the FS1 PCM as well (the warranty and longevity of company were tempting) but I was swayed by the thought's of a having something new versus the reused PCMs that seem to re-fail eventually (though some have had good luck with them). I'm hoping this is the fix...

    Just ordered one for my 2006 LJ that's my DD (with just over 100k miles) that just had it's PCM die (ironically without any shift issues so far!). Once I get it installed and in I'll report back, and try to provide mileage updates. I commute about 50mi roundtrip each day so I'll rack up miles...
