The gear shift does shake some while taking off, but not too drastically.

It's not extremely loud, but it is audible from inside, maybe like if you lightly struck the metal with a hammer. Also, it doesn't do it all the time, just mainly when the drivetrain is under stress, such as backing up a hill, or taking off from a stop.

I had thought that to be a possibility, but I haven't checked that yet. Hopefully, I can figure it out if I can check all the possibilities. I don't do any rough driving, so I think it should be ok until the weather warms a little so I can check it out more thoroughly.
