This makes sense, after second thought attaching to the foam is a better choice, having the option to remove seat covers and what not is a better idea.

I’m just seeing this. Really great idea, I have wanted to do this but didn’t know exactly where to start. I do have one question. My front seats have seat covers on them, should I still pull up the pleather and mount to the foam. my fear is that it wouldn’t be hot enough to really feel the heat...
