Dealer told me the Mopar brake booster has been discontinued. It is $345 online https://www.wermopar.com/oem-parts/mopar-power-brake-booster-4798158ac I want some opinions before I spend $345.

I was talking to Blaine yesterday about why I can't break in the pads. We came to the conclusion that the booster/master cylinder are worn out causing the calipers to not have enough clamping force to get the pads hot enough and break them in.

Factory, with black magic pads front and rear @mrblaine are there any cheaper good alternatives to Mopar?

I need a a brake booster and master cylinder for my 05 Rubicon. I know people have said the Crown units are no good. The only other option I see is Mopar which is very expensive. Thoughts?

No damage caused. I found the 2 screws thankfully, if they were a little bit smaller they would have fallen in next to a pushrod. Previous owner put an aftermarket valve cover on it and the splash shields use Philips head screws which I think is weird. They were stripped out so I got bigger...

Well I finally figured out the problem, the oil splash shield screwed into the bottom of the valve cover fell off onto the rocker arms.

I was able to break each clip with a flathead, Im thinking getting that black tubing to put on the wires now. Thanks for the responses.

Im trying to remove my valve cover, there is wiring in the back with a plastic bridge around it I can't get off. Also the black tube with the wiring for the fuel rail on the right won't pop up.

I am in the middle of replacing my leaky proportioning valve. The metal bracket that bolts to the booster is permanently attached to the valve. What should I do?

One of the rear rotors was running 20 degrees cooler, replaced rear calipers and it seems to have fixed the problem. But I took a chunk out of one of the pads by accident so there's that.

My Jeep has always pulled left when braking, but after installing the Black Magic Brake Pads and new rotors the effect is amplified because of how much better they are. (awesome product @mrblaine) I replaced the front brake hoses, rotors, calipers and pads. In the back I just replaced rotors...

Where can I get a brake fluid compatible o-ring that's the right size?

Stealership wanted $250 for it so I ordered one on Amazon. Is there a good way to keep the master cylinder from running dry when installing it?

I have brake fluid leaking from my proportioning valve. It leaks down the engine bay on the frame and control arm and leaves a puddle under the Jeep. I find it odd that it has not done anything to the paint. I don't have a mushy peddle, it is actually way stiff. It is coming from that bolt on...

Damn, I was hoping to be able to replace those when I install my black magic brake pads and centric rotors from @mrblaine. One of my front hoses went bad and seized my caliper, but before that the pedal was always very stiff and replacing those front 2 brake hoses softened the pedal up a bit...
