Tentative plan for a sleeping surface in my TJ.

Not overly proud about it, but in the early 90’s camping with my CJ5, it rained and I just rolled under it in a sleeping bag…the bourbon helped make it work…not sure it’s an elegant solution ha,

Does Anybody Make Stock Rubicon Rear Driveshafts?

Isn’t this a double Cardan? He’s wanting a non double Cardan, at least the one in his picture doesn’t match this one…that it looks like, or maybe I’m missing something, which absolutley could be the case ha

    Fan Shroud Options?

I haven’t had a 2.5…but your options seem to be listed as some of the most invasive, just my opinion . The simplest from my 4.0 (not the same, but same concept) 1. Drill new holes and move the shroud 2. Get a motor mount lift, and the motor will move up, which was what I did.

@JMT did the under seat....not sure where his pics are, maybe in his build thread, I used that as inspiration for what I did,

I put 2 boards up under the under seat wire....then bolted the Rockville directly to those boards. This is what is looks like with the bottom up and unzipped. I've tied up the cabling some, but this is it. Sub bolted to boards bottom of seat.... This is the amp mounting bracket....I...

Agree...this is a good amp. I chose a different direction...I wanted a 4 channel, so no sub, just the front and rear.....and a "powered sub" with a built in amp stand alone. Reason is the cost of an amp I wanted to get a little higher power out of it to avoid any distortion.....that way I can...

This....Amp....Sub....biggest difference makers, from my experience. You got those pods on Crutchfield? Did they come with the pod they are mounted in? Edit: Looks like they are in one of the pics...I didn't see those when looking. Very cool. After having to buy and wait for the pods on...

Is this front drive shaft done?

It 100% can…and it can happen when you’re flat towing it back from Lubbock when Covid hits and you have to get your son out of Texas Tech asap, ha. I know full well…happened on I20. Still have the dents in the tub as well.

Tummy tuck plates, why so costly?

It’s gay, but that’s ok. To each his own, ha. I’m a jerk I’m sure for thinking that, and that’s ok as well , ha

Tummy tuck plates, why so costly?

I'm just going to point out...not sure how the "under armor" ever got renamed to this? My wife says tummy....I've literally never called my gut that or ever used that word...unless maybe to my daughter when she was 3 or 4, ha. Just odd to me....that's all, ha.

Tummy tuck plates, why so costly?

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ We design outside plant fiber to the home, manage construction, manage operations for go live and software for ongoing operations... .the single biggest effort, throughout the build... is to avoid unnecessary truck rolls at ALL costs. Fix, automate, anything to make sure...

Tummy tuck plates, why so costly?

This alone...yeah, if you get a new Currectlync....and the box gets a puncture and there's a scratch...how many would take that, call RockJock and say "this has a scratch, I want one without a scratch" which is shippiing to send back, shipping to send new....and on and on it goes...so THAT part...

Tummy tuck plates, why so costly?

You left out marketing dollars. A website, paying Credit Card charge 3%, if you do Google ads...they want $50 a conversion to your site from a search sometimes. That's just Google...then paying and SEO to make your site and product the one that people at least see when they search for it. I...

    Soft top identification questions

The top has a plastic strip that slots into a front window frame slot…like a bikini top or like on my old CJ’s That’s a pretty big difference. All the TJ soft tops I’ve seen have a “header” j think it’s called that locks in…that is like a safari top or something
