The JJ is on the frame side mount, it is just a regular sleeved bushing on the axle side. The frame side is also slightly oversized, but it'll be easy to just have a machinist turn a sleeve for the frame side mount.

I've thought about welding some new steel to the bracket, but it would be a huge pain to address the backside of the bracket. I've also thought about having a machinist make a spacer. So I'll probably either do that or drill it out.

So I'm trying to replace the Rubicon Express(?) front track bar with one from JKS. Only issue is that it looks like the Rubicon Express track bar uses an oversized bolt on the axle mount, while the JKS reuses the stock bolt. Is it ok to use a stock sized bolt if the hole was drilled out to fit...

I ordered some about 3 weeks back and they arrived within a week.

I guess I’ll try and adjust the latch first, as the door isn’t rubbing anywhere else. It doesn’t look like it needs to move more than an 1/8” or so. Is door sag common? Is this something I’ll probably have the adjust again down the road?

I could definitely need new bushings, but I don’t think that’s the source of my issue. The bushings failed years ago and the squeak started this month.

I need to adjust one of my doors, as the latch is rubbing the white material inside the door. I’ve read that it’s best to make the adjustment from the door side of the hinge, is this correct? I’ve also read that Jeep paints the doors with the hinge already in place, should I be worried about...

Well, my control arms just arrived in just 3 days. And man are they beautiful..

It looks like it very well may be the belt/tensioner. I can push it down an inch with relative ease. I’ll replace the belt (and maybe tensioner) and see if it goes away. Thanks

The belt is only about 8 months old, but I’ll go and check it to be sure. I did dunk the front end into some muck a few times this weekend, maybe that’s related. But it sounds a little more intense than I thought belt squeal would be.

I am not 100% sure. It doesn’t sound like any of the bad u joints I’ve had. I would guess either the engine or front axle. Maybe the transmission, but probably not anything further back than that.
