Did you buy OEM or aftermarket multi function switch? I need to replace mine too. I pulled my fog light fuse last fall and figured I’d address it in the spring. I just wonder how long the aftermarket one would last.

I used a hockey puck for a snubber spacer and shaved it down with a razor blade and then shaped it as best as I could with the dremel.

make sure you verify which hardtop you have. If there are vertical vents on the hardtop then you have a 97-02 top. If you have an 03-06 Jeep than you will need an adapter to make that connection...

You’ll need a wire harness to run to the back where the hardtop wiring is at. That harness ties into your instrument cluster with 2 or 3 pins and it also ties into a connector above your feet in the drivers seat as well. The wiring schematic is available in the service manual which you can find...
