Low Oil Pressure (Not The Sensor)

I would check yourself with a mechanical gauge. Mine has done it, every time I drive over 20 mins, for 2 years, but I really have between 10-14 psi at idle. The factory sensors say 8-14 psi on them, so I'm guessing its due to that. I keep a separate mechanical gauge at all times. See if the shop...

Is there an easy way to line up the wheel studs with the wheels?

I use cheap Harbor Freight furniture dollies. 15$ or so.

    Can anyone identify these wheels?

Said he picked up 35s, so just putting it out there.

    Can anyone identify these wheels?

Does anybody know why RockJock and Savvy sell two different 4” lift sets for LJs?

Has been said before. The original springs in the kit were the 5" and the 4" is a newer spring. It all depends on the weight of your rig. The 4 would be for a lighter rig, and the 5 for heavier, assuming it will drop down to 4ish, with heavy accessories.

    Aftermath of 3” Body Lift

Yep, they totaled my yj, after getting rear ended, and it has at least a 2" . Only had it 8 months. The body shifted forward, and tore the mounts. What part was they didn't even have the rubber body mounts.... Just the BL pucks. Lol.

What did you do to your TJ today?

Catching up on the last couple of bigger things. Got bedtred for the front, and added 1" spacers all around until I get new Currie springs.

Help me (and other new members) learn from your mistakes

It really is an addiction, just like drugs. It's my true drug of choice. I definitely had my wild years. Lol. I plan to keep my Jeep forever, if possible.

Help me (and other new members) learn from your mistakes

I did it too, not thinking. Lol. I had to hold the jeep in place while getting out from under it, and getting into it, before it got too far. Wasn't easy, and I'll never make that mistake again.

    Who’s running Metalcloak coils?

Yes 3.5" coils with a 6cyl. Had 4.25 for about 2.5 years, until I added the weight. After 4 months, I was down to 3" front and 3.5 with just my 35 on back. Factory rear bumper. I had sandbags in it for a while, to help the ride. I also loaded it up with supplies a few times. I wouldn't have...

    Who’s running Metalcloak coils?

I had 4.25" of lift, and 5" up and 5" down for travel with mine until I put the 65# bumper, and 69# winch. Then my springs up front sagged to 3" I don't consider that exactly a heavy rig. Now with no bumper or winch, it's 3.25" I just added 1" spacers to get my shocks back to 50/50. I also have...

    Who’s running Metalcloak coils?

I got 4.25" out of them on a 6cyl. Added weight to them, 65# bumper, and 69# winch on front, 35" tire on back with cargo, and now they are completely sagged to 3.25 in front with no bumper, or winch, and 3.5 in back with nothing. I'm going to Currie next.

Has anyone ever painted their brake calipers?

I agree. Took the time to do mine, and they get screwed up, slinging the 35s on it.
