It’s not. This is the first gen of the SRT motors. 425 horsepower. The current SRT motor is the 6.4 392 that’s in the Wrangler. I was back and forth on doing the 6.1 or the 6.4. Decided to keep it “period correct” since this is the motor that would have been around when the Jeep was sold.

So a tire that’s tread pattern is perfectly flat with the road is over-inflated? Toyo RT is rated at 80 cold. How can less than half of that be inflated too much? Tires have about 10k on them. Rotated with the spare. No cupping at all. Normal wear. They’re still perfect.

Alright…so taking ride quality out of it…what the issue with running them at that psi?

It was my daily for a while so I was just trying to get as much life out of them as I could. It’s also what my brother, who owns a tire store suggested I run them at.
