I've let it idle for 30 minutes and it still did it

So I drove it around this weekend and once you crank it up it'll do it once and drive normally the rest of the day but here recently It has been doing it more but once it's done again it'll drive normally the rest of the day. And yes it's the same in reverse and drive

The way you just described it is basically what it does

I'll crank the jeep up let it idle for a little bit. I put the shifter into drive. It will drive for about 50 ft or so then it just idles up and just rolls like it is in neutral (no audible pop or visual thing happens with the shifter) I'll hold the rpms at 2500 to 3000 and then it'll shift...

There's not much to adjusting the linkage I've played with it for a good while and still had the same problems

The levels are all good it has The right atf fluid is in it and the levels are good it has to be something with the tranny it's self
