    Thanks but I purchase new filter every time and I drive it to the shop so I would think engine temperature should not be the issue. I am starting t think the stick that measure the oil level is not accurate.

    Hi Chris, I noticed that when I take my 4.0L for oil & filter change it gets overfilled despite the fact that I provide to the technician only 6 quarts of 10W-30. Last time I asked to check the level and they use 5 quarts and a little bit of the 6th bottle and it was already above the full line...

    Thank you. I am not sure if I have the TracLoc LSD. Could I damage something if I add the 4oz. limited slip additive and it is not needed? So 75W-90 non-synthetic GL-5 is the best oil option. How often do you recommend to replace the axles oil?

    Hello Jerry, I have a TJ 2000 Sport (4.0L). I understand you mentioned Axles oil viscosity is not important and you recommend to use 75W-90. In other chat Chris in 2015 indicated 75W-140. I wonder if it makes any difference. What would be the recommended change interval for the axle oil? Also...
