Okay I’ll check that out. I’ll add that the mechanic did not tighten the battery ground nearly enough as I could loosen it by hand. There were also two additional newer looking washers behind the ground going to the body that I did not put there myself.

Will this ground being torn to shreds have anything to do with it or just the hood light? I’m cleaning all the grounds under the hood and inside as we speak. Just wanted to point this out

I’m attempting to add a video but now sure if it’s going thru. I’m assuming I have a dead short somewhere behind the radio? I know when I soldered in the pigtail, I wrapped the wire in electrical tape.. So maybe that slid off and they’re touching.

Radiator is less than 10k old, used Mopar. Going to do a flush and change out the rest of the cooling system. Like you mine was all original and still is aside from the radiator
