That M12 stubby is an absolute beast. I built band props when my kid was in marching band and it outlasted most 18/20v systems other dads brought in.

I’m a Milwaukee guy myself, having both M12 and M18 tools. What’s nice is the platform, I’ve got a leafblower, sawzall, shopvac, and they all use the same batteries.
