Thanks for quick responses... The new transmission came with a torque converter. That's something the mechanic had mentioned. But it seemed a little odd beings it was doing the samething previous to the new torque converter. I hate the thought of it being something associated with the torque...

Hey guys so I've had this continued problem for a while now. My transmission will not shift into 3rd. Jerry walked me thru the steps of setting the T.V cable👍. But no matter what it just wont shift to 3rd. If I disconnect the cable it'll shift really funny. BUT I can hit 3rd and run highway...

Im hoping and praying it's just the gears. Last time I changed it. I seen some shavings and wear on the gears. But stupid me never took it very seriously.... Is there any way of telling whether its the pinion too? Is that a possibility?😬
