    Just did the same this afternoon. Got into the jeep while wearing my motorcycle boots and kicked it, breaking it. How hard was it to de-pin the OEM connector?

    I resorted to a putty knife for some of the harder stubborn bits, used some scotch pads and a little bit of sand paper to final polish(?) the mating surfaces.

    Thanks for the feedback. Not aware of the Robert Shaw Thermostat, googling it next. Yes the OEM spring clamps are still there. Good call out i'll grab some new ones.

    Ok, long weekend over with and back to reality. Y'all see anything obvious that I'm missing? - Water Pump - Thermostat & Housing - Upper & Lower Radiator Hoses - Heater Hoses x2 - Serpentine Belt, Idler & Tensioner My cart right now $357 isn't as bad I thought it was going to be.

    My guess is the flush did its job and got rid of what ever was bridging the matting surfaces and showed me that the gasket has left the chat!

    My bottle had 2 options "quick clean" and "deep clean" instructions. I was following the deep clean that said to drive for 4 to 6 hours. I was going to drive it to and fro for several days to get to the 6 hour mark. Lesson learned that it can't sit idle, I clearly missed that call out...
