I’m getting a 301 for cyl 1 only. I had also been getting codes for CPS but replaced the OPDA after a lengthy discovery process and cleared that code. Now I’m just stuck with the 301 again… Just replaced the plugs and saw the cyl 1 (topmost) is pretty heavily sooted with carbon deposits...

When you say “turn the oil pump slot backwards” what does that mean? I thought you wanted to mark the slot with a screwdriver or makeshift pin like the new unit so it was theoretically in TDC for the new unit… I only checked “manually” after the new unit didn’t seem to be in the right...
