    98 TJ wheel spacers

I think you sold me on the synergy's Yeah I'll probably stick with them. I'll keep that in mind if I want to change wheels at some point.

    98 TJ wheel spacers

Since I have the pockets in the back of my wheels I could stick with 1" spacers. Is there any other considerations to going with something wider other than looks?

You are right, found the titans: https://www.titanwheelaccessories.com/products/1-25-titan-5x4-5-to-5x5-wheel-adapters-for-jeep-jk-wheels-on-tj-yj-kk-sj-71-5-hubcentric-1-2x20-studs Will probably go with these

Yes, you are correct. I mistyped but thanks for double checking! Lehigh valley, on the other side of the state!

    98 TJ wheel spacers

Good catch, you are correct. My wheels have those so they were not sitting on the studs after all. But maybe crappy spacers or not torqued correctly caused the failures.

    98 TJ wheel spacers

Thanks to everyone, I'm finally getting to the bottom of this. I'll get new spacers. So I should get 5x4.5 to 5x5 spacers that are 1.25" I believe, does that sound right? Brand wise - from the digging I've done, spidertrax is recommended but also syngery...

    98 TJ wheel spacers

Thanks. I ordered some thin wall sockets as I didn't have the 19mm to get this thing off. I thought I just had stock wheels but are these wheels wider than stock? P245/65R17. If so I am guessing I will still need the spacer which looks to be an inch. Are the studs on these spacers usually...

    98 TJ wheel spacers

New to Jeeps... this is a spacer I am guessing? Some of the studs have broken on it. Are they usually replaceable or are they built in to the spacer? More importantly - how the hell do you get it off? None of my sockets will fit since they are recessed.

Problems going back to stock radio

Grounding it didn't help. Guessing it's a bad unit but I will report back once I have it sorted out.

    Notes on a '97 SE (2.5)

Can't get the display to come up, can hear some radio through speakers but volume doesn't seem to work. I did get the ground hooked up, still no change. Hopefully a bad unit. Thanks for the tips on the two wire plug.

    Notes on a '97 SE (2.5)

Thanks. My setup here. The radio I am installing is acting up, not sure it's over the missing connector (I don't think it is). I'll try a secure ground but I have a feeling the radio is acting up. These are largely plug and play I am guessing.

    Notes on a '97 SE (2.5)

The back of your "RAZ" cd player had three hookups - two 7 pin and a 2 pin. I am in the same boat with my 98 TJ, trying to go to stock. Did you end up using the 2 pin port on the back of your RAZ radio? I have installed mine but it's acting up. I don't have the two pin connector on my wiring...

Problems going back to stock radio

I'm going to try the ground thing but I doubt that solves my problems. What would be nice is to figure out what the white connector is and can you use this stereo without anything plugged in to it

Problems going back to stock radio

Yes, sorry... it is a 98. The foam is just covering the ground strap, there are no wires in there. Now that I look in the correct manual, I think you are right that the CCD connector may not exist for this year. I wonder if not having it grounded could be causing the issues. I tried to...

Problems going back to stock radio

Took out a aftermarket radio trying to go back to stock. The original wiring harness still present... was hoping it would be plug and play but it was plug and pray. When I get everything hooked up the radio wasn't working right. No display, could hear radio but only out of front speakers. The no...
