    PO133

Thanks guys for the suggestions and great information in here. I ordered a new PCM from @Wranglerfix and it arrived and I swapped it out. Turned the key, started right up and no CEL light. Have been driving around and all is good, yayyyyyy!!!! As an added bonus also seems to be running smoother...

    PO133

Some more followup, symptom is that all 4 x O2 sensor heaters are throwing codes Low and CEL comes on immediately on starting, sometimes the DTC's are listed twice (8 DTCs) most times 4 DTCs. Interesting discovery today, I am using a lightbulb and a couple of alligator clips/leads and...

    PO133

So I have an issue with my TJ 2005 that I have been trying to troubleshoot. Looking for some advice. Have owned my 2005 a few years now, at some point it began as CEL but it would stay lit for a while then it would cure itself and I just got used to it but now the CEL is permanently on and if I...

Crank but no start P0032 & P0038 codes

Thanks Mark! I checked the NHTSA and it has zero recalls resolved on the VIN, would that include a TSB? I do not have much from the previous owner to confirm what all was done tbh. Will plan to give you a call and go from there. Thank you sir.

Crank but no start P0032 & P0038 codes

I am wondering if I might have a PCM that has developed a fault. A couple months ago, when I started up, the CEL came on. I did some troubleshooting on it and the codes said Low Power, and all the O2 heater control banks/sensors. Then after a while the CEL went off, as if it had been reset. The...

    Bouncing gauges and wont start

Confirmed, so glad I have this forum to come to! This morning the TJ exhibited same symptoms, acted like it had no power, and when I removed the key the dials started blipping up and down all bu themselves like it was possessed. On inspection the negative battery terminal had got all corroded...

    Check Engine Light Mystery

I will check and see, thanks good suggestion. When I changed out the vacuum line a while back I hsd to remove the battery and the contacts had a lot of buildup/corrosion on them that I cleaned up. Just weird how this came on suddenly and then now it's acting like nothing happened :-)

    Check Engine Light Mystery

Thanks, good suggestions. I will get them checked out. I have not replaced the O2 sensors but the previous owner might have, Just weird to me the check engine light is now off, I was expecting it to stay on until the codes were cleared but it's off now like nothing ever happened!

    Check Engine Light Mystery

Hello folks, Looking to see if anyone else has seen this. Here is the backstory, 2005 TJ running fine and did not have any check engine light on, all good. Monday night we had this crazy rainstorm came through town, lot of rain and lightning overnight and the Jeep was outside on the driveway...

    Idle surging / vacuum

Forgot to post an update on this one and close it out. Replaced the vacuum line, connected it in all the right places and all is well. Never did find the leak but a new line worked like a charm. Good to go. Thanks everyone for your suggestions!

    Immobilizer Power Plug

Adding another pic showing the pins/connector - not seeing any part numbers on it. Guessing it's wired inside to route what's needed to allow it to start. Will ask around. Just would feel better knowing I have at least one spare plug.
