Im just a happily retired guy who loves to tinker small time with vehicles as major engine rebuilds and things like that are a part of my past but I'm glad to have gained the knowledge of changing trans and rears in the streets of NYC on a refrigerator cardboard packing in the Winter. I certainly paid my dues there. Those were the days that you could go to a scrapyard and buy a three speed transmission for $15.00 and they would let you remove the plate to inspect the gears for damage. Things have changed much since then and now I like to rely on the expertise of the forum members to help me out with problems I can't fix so easily. I bow to the members experience and I also hope I can solve some of their problems from my past experiences.
