    05 LJR picked up cheaply

We have a decent Metalcloak following here, but I was more referring to this site. They can't stand Metalcloak and can't stand Patagonia's... Just internet BS.

Very nice!!! But Metalcloak and Patagonia's? Might catch some grief around here for that... ;)

    What oil should I use?

I agree... We grew up racing small block dodges and my grandfather swore by Castrol GTX and we never lost a motor. It has stuck with me since about 1970.

This right here... Castrol GTX High Mileage 10W30. WINNER!

Using bar pin eliminators to adjust travel bias (other options?)

As I recall, we cut off 1 end of the bar pin to press it out easily. But the spacers are going to be much less expensive and available in a variety of lengths. Seems like the logical way to go.

Using bar pin eliminators to adjust travel bias (other options?)

For what it's worth, if I choose to try the "popular" Black Max, the rear is a good length, but the front misses my target length by 1" to 1-1/4" as well. And the long ones for 6" lift an up are too long. So I will likely be doing the same thing. Either a BPE or some spacers.

Using bar pin eliminators to adjust travel bias (other options?)

If you can find a shock that gets you the extra downtravel and can still use the bump stops you have, that's the better choice. But often, the shock body gets longer when you increase extended length and that means you are changing bump stops anyway.

Fine tuning... Do it. I'm always jacking around with mine to get the travel fine tuned.

    Suspension Question

That depends on the rest of your setup... If you put on shorter shocks and smaller bump stops, you might run in to tire clearance issues. Have you cycled the suspension to see if you can run a shorter bump stop? It sounds to me like you should have those shocks revalved. Get a little more...

Best Riding coils and lift size for my frankenlift.

As above, it's all about tire size... To keep it simple, 4" and 33's... Add the 1.25 body lift and 1"MM lift for 35's. Then tummy tuck. ;) It never ends.

I'm not a big fan of MT/R's, so I suspect you will really like those Baja's...

All Terrain vs Mud Terrain for Daily Driver

Definitely... Need to repair my T-Case. I'm dead in the water right now. NP241OR stuff is all discontinued. I just see a lot of negative posts on the Patagonia's and have yet to have anything that I didn't climb because of tires. It's been the other way around more often then not. That...

All Terrain vs Mud Terrain for Daily Driver

Agree, Falken AT3W is an outstanding tire. Does everything except for deep mud as good as anything out there. @starkey480 Did it seem like I had bad traction with my Patagonia's? I know my wheelbase helped...
