something is way off. You need to do this but rotate the assembly by hand. Its hard to tell how much of the run out is actual vs. needle bounce. Also the indicator should be perpendicular to the shaft, not at an angle. It appears the shaft has a bit of wobble.... Interesting...

When you say mark the end to return it to phase, what does that mean?? I just bought a new Tom Woods driveshaft and there are no marks?! How do I know if its in phase on the initial install??

I'm going through the same thing.....what an expensive pain.....I did find that my front 44 diff was bent so that was a good catch, but it still vibrates even after the shop straightened it...

The trans is in and it shifts amazing. The shifter still has slop. I think I might try the B&M shifter in a few months, buy My YouTube series is updated with a test drive. Let me know if you have any questions....
