    '03 Rubicon TJ Build Begins

It's been awhile since I posted, but then again it's taken some time to get scheduled for the installation of the lift kit. Happy to say that is done now but the build is officially in progress. Here's where it's at: 3.5" lift, 33" Falken AT/3W's, and Quadratec Rubicon Xtreme rims. Still...

    Lift and more in progress

Jeep is looking really good! Nice that you got that valuable garage space to wrench on it. Are there any Jeep clubs in Sweden? Or for that matter are there that many Jeeps? Just curious as you probably turn a lot of heads rolling around in your rig!! Lol

    '03 Rubicon TJ Build Begins

Absolutely @Irun . I am kicking myself in the ass for not jumping on this forum earlier. I sure wish they had these forums back when I owned my first CJ-7. Lol.

    '03 Rubicon TJ Build Begins

Thanks. The rear bumper seems to be the thing I'm struggling the most with. I decided to go with a simple bumper from Hyline Offroad that will work easily with the Gobi rack install, both of which I will do. I mentioned to @Steel City 06 about a Spartacus carrier for its simplicity and...

    '03 Rubicon TJ Build Begins

Thanks for the input. I've been looking at the Rugged Ridge Spartacus carrier since it can installed separate from the bumper itself.

Malteser's (very slow and mild) camper build

Congratulations! Glad to see that the TJ nation extends to Ireland. Definitely keep us posted on your progress. Especially interested to hear and see about the roof top tent set-up as I'm doing the same with mine. If you get a chance, check out the Slumberjack Roadhouse tarp...

    Kevin's Silver Rubicon Build

Great story and background of becoming a "Jeepaholic". Lol. I had a buddy in school that had the Golden Eagle with the V-8 engine. We cruised on and off road with the top removed and I was immediately hooked. I ended up buying a 1979 CJ-7 with a 258 and 3-speed tranny. Busted my knuckles by...

    '03 Rubicon TJ Build Begins

So I posted earlier on @psravits 2005 TJ Rubicon build with my anticipated build. Happy to say that it has officially started with the order of the Gobi Rack Ranger, which will hold the RTT and other gear. I was amazed that despite the holiday shutdown, I received a call from Gobi to confirm...

Nice looking TJ! Love the color. Congrats. First off, I applaud your move of taking the angry grill off right away. Hate those things. And going back to the OEM fenders as well. Going to start my build in a couple of months. What lift kit is on your Jeep and size rims and tires are you...

psrivats' 2005 TJ Rubicon mild build

Thank you. This forum is addictive. Lol. I will be asking questions as certain parts of the build I hope to do myself. But when it comes to suspension, axles, etc. I am limited by lack of a shop, time and tools.

    Factory Fog Light Gauge

I originally thought they weren't either because of the fog light guards, but when I removed them from the stock bumper and peeled back the wire conduit there was a Mopar tag with the part no. 55055095.

    Factory Fog Light Gauge

Thanks. I bought some waterproof solder filled butt connectors so I'll see how those works. The YouTube video looks pretty promising.

What did you get your Jeep for Christmas?

Great question. Quadratec Stealth GEN II LED headlights (installed). Also black light rings and grill inserts (not installed).
