No, I ended up selling the jeep before I could get around to it. I’m currently in a jku, but will definitely get another tj when the kids get older.

I will say I put my XJ in a ditch while pulling a boat during a rainy day. I don’t really blame that on the tires, that’s was my fault for over loading and not hooking up the trailer at the correct height. Plus with no ABS, I slid right off the road.

I’m not familiar with snow driving or snow tires since we haven’t had snow here in a decade, but don’t the evos come with predrilled holes for spikes? Do you guys actually use features like this or is it a gimmick?

I put them on 3 of the jeeps I’ve owned in the past year or so. None are daily drivers, used mostly on the road with some sand/mud trail use. I think they look good and works well in this southern terrain. I have pics of them on the second page of this thread on my other rigs.

Most of the recommendations are really easy to do. I would look at upgrading what you have and doing it yourself by using some of the forum how to threads. ZJ steering upgrade and ranchero’s would be a good start, at about $400 for everything. All new quality brakes, rotors, bushing and ball...

Not sure about Performance since I haven’t run the STTs, but I like the looks of the evos on the older rigs better. I’m on my 3rd set and have no complaints.

I think your jeep would look and preform better with a 15” aftermarket..

Along with the lift, I did a DIY exhaust with cherry bomb glass pack and a turn down. Parts for that are, - Cherry bomb 23” glass pack - 2 1/4” ID turn down with the end cut off to make it fit inside the glass pack - 2 1/2 ID x 2 1/4” OD coupler - 2 1/2” exhaust clamp I welded most of it...
