Master cylinder brake line size / fittings

Not sure how the drum brakes work, but I would make new hard lines if I were you. I know my rear brake hoses and hard lines come from the factory as one piece so if I ever want to replace the hose I’ll have to make new hard lines and connect it to new brake hoses.

    Rich's Rubicon maitenance and upgrades

so much has happened since January! I recently began to tackle some pretty big things on the jeep. 1st, I had to replace my pre cats as one of them was shot and throwing a code. Getting them off wasn’t so hard, but getting the new ones back on was such a pain. I can’t imagine how some people do...

Master cylinder brake line size / fittings

Thanks for the confirmation! So I have been practicing my flares with the hand tool you can rent from the auto parts store and I got one fairly good bubble flare but my double flares are lacking. I went out of my way to rent the same tool from 4 different stores trying to find a quality one...

Haha hard to say, but I don’t have a hard top, only this soft top that is as old as the Jeep and definitely has seen better days. But he replied first so I’ll leave it up to him.

I’m a poor paramedic student and my soft top is all busted up. The plastic L’s on the driver side are busted up too. If tom doesn’t take it, I’d like it!

New engine codes after spark plug changes (P1391, P0352, P0340)

Still plan on doing that compression test so I’ll double check them then. drove a couple hundred miles and broke 100,000 miles with no CEL so I’ve my fingers crossed still.

New engine codes after spark plug changes (P1391, P0352, P0340)

Installed a new battery, the Optima group 34 agm red top so I feel better about that atleast. I ran to the store today to rent the tools for a compression test and picked up a noid light kit too while I was at it. When I ran the codes again all that was showing was P0340 which is the camshaft...

New engine codes after spark plug changes (P1391, P0352, P0340)

I am not sure what the actual cold crank amperage was unfortunately. As I wait for the part to arrive I’ve done a little more research. I’m starting to think I have a leak somewhere, be it vacuum or gasket related. I don’t have much experience with engine related issues so this article helps me...

New engine codes after spark plug changes (P1391, P0352, P0340)

I can’t get it to go in slow motion but rest assured that I’m slow mo, they are all firing in sync. also to update I just got back from the auto parts store and the battery is kinda failing he said (cold it had 12.9v) but the alternator was good. Found this sensor I’m going to buy and see if...

New engine codes after spark plug changes (P1391, P0352, P0340)

I removed the coil rail and the boots and put a grounded metal rod near the exposed springs and cranked the engine. I used a the slow mo setting on my camera to catch the sparks.

New engine codes after spark plug changes (P1391, P0352, P0340)

I was hoping that was my issue too. Ive exposed most of the wires between the camshaft sensor and pcm and the crankshaft sensor and the pcm but didn’t find anything. I’m going to test the rail again then take her in for a battery and alternator test. If those are all good, I’ll grab the new parts.
