It's hard to find offset rims that are more than 3.75" of backspacing. Anyone have the Pro Comp 69's with 31" tires? Any pics? I'm worried they might stick out too much. I would like a wider stance, but wonder if the 3.75" BS will actually stick out 2" more than stock (just making sure)...That...

Been checking out the Pro Comp 69 rims. I really like the price. I have a 2" lift (2.75 up front), and 31" Duratracs. I want them to stick out more than the stock rims to make the tires look bigger, but my gut says they might stick out too much with 3.75" of BS. Anyone know of any rims out...

I followed the wires and they went to some other small connectors that were unconnected. They ended up weaving into black and red wires that go to the little red light on top of the dash to the left.... I wonder if they are for a security system, maybe?

It's under the driver's side dash area.

Eww.... that makes sense. Maybe thats why it might be better to have the jeep on the wheels and on the ground to do this.

For anyone having this problem, here is what worked for me. Instead of fighting with it, with the jeep's frame on the jack stands, I realized I was fighting it too much, even with the axle drooped. I installed the sway links, shocks, and everything except the track bar, and then moved the jack...

As difficult as it is to move the whole thing over with a ratchet, I guess I figured sticking a screwdriver in there would be even more difficult to budge it over. Once you stick the screwdriver in there to line it up, doesn't it want to move back to where it was once you pull the screwdriver...

No I don't have one. I didn't want to have to figure out how to get the drill in there in that tight space. I got the front TB in, I'm having trouble with the rear.

I wondered this too. I'm in the middle of this issue too it's in the air (the frame is on jackstands). I'm wondering if that is part of the issue.... I thought about putting the stands under the axle (that would be the same as being on the ground), just so there was more room to ratchet.

I wish I would have done this when I reinstalled mine.

Just installed 2" BDS springs. I've been reading posts on how to get the track bar holes aligned. I finally got the front in (with a ratchet strap), but I am having trouble with the rear. I've got it close, but now it's kind of twisted so the bolt is in halfway but won't line up in back. Right...

Installing BDS springs for 2" of lift, plus installing 3/4" spacers up front (to get rid of rake). Halfway done (did front first), and I'm noticing the front has about 4" of lift, instead of 3" (or, 2 3/4"). Of course, I have not installed the rear springs yet and I am looking at on the ground...

I have a feeling the 55128 (0-2" lift) and 55239 (2.5" +) would both be ok, but Rancho said the risk would be the smaller (55128) could over extend, since it's shorter. So, I ordered the longer 55239 just to be safe.

Ordered 2" BDS spring lift for the Tj, along with the 55128/55240 Rancho shocks. Have not installed the lift/socks yet, because I also ordered .75" spacers for up front to get rid of some of the rake. Now, I wonder if I ordered the right shocks for the front... I know it's kind of a tweener...

What size/length do you suggest to hold the hockey pucks in for bump stops? Thinking about 1/2" so I can squeeze it under the perch in back. Not sure how many pucks I'll need, but I assume 1 or 2. I'd like to be able to purchase everything before I start so I don't have to run back to the...
