I have a quick question for those that have completed repairs and replacements of ball joints and tie rods/drag link on their tj. How many of you have removed the rear seat and seatbelts?
I took mine out several years ago and put 3/4” plywood cut to cover all of tub. big part of it was for added storage but a so so I could put a 12” subwoofer in. But, recently I removed all of it and put the seat back on so I could carry passengers down in Baja. That’s where the heep is going...- SrBob

99 4.0 distributor mounting gasket?
I’m replacing my distributor and I’m having a hard time finding the “correct” mounting gasket. From oReilly to autozone to Napa and online, they all state that the gasket is Felpro 70051. Rear Main Seal Replacement (4.0)
Excellent write up. I just finished mine today and from start to finish I used this write up. I probably wouldn’t have tackled this job without it. Thanks for putting it together. I did struggle with getting the top half of the old seal out of the block. I worked on it for literally hours...- SrBob
