I put rancho black max on the rear and that got it semi close to how I want it and for the front I had a pair of worn out rancho 5000 from a Chevy I built adapters for to fit and it drives fairly decent now but at this point I’ll need tuneable coilovers to really get it as soft as I want

Pulled the oil pan today and everything looks good no cracked pistons and con rod bearings look good pulled the oil filter part with a cutter and there was lots of material and compression was good on first 3 last 3 where 110 80 and 70… guess it’s time for a rebuild

Running 22psi 35" sttpros on 15" I constantly have a about 100-150lbs of gear with me I find l 24/25psi drive better on the highway but also relocates my vertebrae every pothole/bump

Update: so I did some thinking and research and found that my wife's new zj has some Ranchos on it has the same amount of lift and I'm going to swap the crossbars on the rear shock and put the bilstiens in the zj and try the Ranchos in the tj this friday

I have them set at 22psi anything more and there to hard and way more jaring

Would the rubicon express one's be better I've hear there basicly re valved 5100s

My 98 4.0 has a 4.5" rubicon express long arm kit has the rebuildable hiem joints and bilstien 5100 shocks its been aligned but it rides terrible when I hit a bump it's jaring and the steering/body feel like it's going whereever it wants Everything is torqued and tight have all new drive shafts

So I'm going to pick up a set of stock Dana 30/35 with 3.73 for my jeep for 400$ and want to build them to run 35's I would use better gearing, cromoly shafts and truss it. With the price of 44's in my part of canada I would end up spending more on the 44's to shorten them, regear and make some...

As some may know the 97-99 have the AC mounted on the passenger side so the dorango alt. Won't work. I was wondering if there are other alternators that are reasonably priced I have a 98 with the 4.0

i got the diffs for free and they have the right gearing for what i need
