Though I smell coolant on the way home from work. Sure nuff, got home and she’s draining.☹️
Looks like the condenser rubbed a hole. Anyone know of a genuine mopar nowadays?
Bit of a short preliminary back story to what I think may have been a cause. Several months ago due to my original oil pressure sensor's connector getting broken I replaced it with a Standard brand sensor. (Wasn't able to and still haven't found a Mopar one.) A wierd malfunction with it pushed...
2000 4.0, after a very long conglomeration of situations I've got my TJ back together for the second time but it is just dumping fuel out the exhaust and running pretty poorly. Been trying some diagnostics on it and this seems like the most obvious thing so far.
I know spec is supposed to be...
Thought I'd share this cool LJ that a small town about a hour north of us brought in to help with a wildfire that was about a 30 minutes north of were we live last week. Didn't even know they had it.(I was not there to take these pics :()
Seems TJ has been throwing a tantrum lately but I believe this is one of the last issues to be taken care of so far. Please excuse my illiteracy with electronic systems, I'm sure for some of you this is a very easily diagnosed problem. So thats why I'm here.
Ok, so if I have this correctly in...
If anyone has a 4.0 laying around that can do without the OEM Mopar oil pressure sensor I'll make you a offer on it. Year 2000 engine is what I'll be using it for. I believe anything from 99-02 will be compatible.
Just recently my TJ obtained its first oil leak in my ownership. Oil covering the starter and frame and everything else within close proximity. Dripping on the exhaust and getting blown up on the bottom of the tub. Figured it must be the rear main as it definitely isn't from the valve cover.
So...
Replacing the alternator on my dad's Grasshopper 721D. Both factory and new wires are the same color with no markings, does anyone know if it makes any different which goes to which?
My Uncle has had this noise from his 2000 TJ ever since he bought it. Been thinking about doing a clutch job with all the fixins to see if that resolves it but figured we might get a second opinion before we dig in. Only makes noise while clutch is depressed/letting clutch out, most obvious in...
Another thing I'd highly recommend is make sure you have a good way to air down and then air back up if you don't already. It'll make the trails much more pleasant.
