hmmm well that may be good news then. The sound definitely remains when stationary.

Does it make a difference if the sound remains even when not moving?

I'm still planning to diagnose it before buying anything. I just wanted to know what I might be looking at if this is the case.

Assuming at this point that it is the driveshaft CV joint, which parts will I need to replace? I remember reading at some point about a Spicer double CV, is it just one part or a whole kit?

What I meant is the sounds gets faster in fequency but stays the same in terms of pitch as in it doesn't become a higher pitched sound
