I never knew how important conrol arms were

Yes, I'm Dumb. I bought my '05 Rubicon and knew it needed some work. Tires were shot. Shocks were leaking, etc. But the price was right. Proceeded to upgrade the suspension, then tires, then steering...ball joints, u-joints,,, you get it. But I was always fighting road manners. Wandering...

Baseline for setting up adjustable control arms

I just ordered a CE-9100SA control arm kit from Savvy for my '05 Rubicon. Currently has original (beat to S%$t) stock arms on it. I've got a Zone 4 1/4 combi-kit lift on it, plus a 3/4 spring spacer on the front to level out the rake. Any ideas on where to set up the new control arms to get me...

    Which jack?

It's not a bottle jack. It's a mechanical screw jack (at least it should be). If it functions without any bind, it should be GTG.

    Which jack?

I use those bottle jackstands in the garage. But I just keep the factory jack and a couple pieces of 2x6 in the rig. The combination jack takes up a lot of space and is pretty heavy.

How many light bars or pods do you have on your Jeep?

12 inch on the bumper guard and two small pods on the A Pillars. I obviously need to step up my game. I'm also glaringly in need of some NOS and Monster stickers. (Good for 5 HP each, I'm told). Maybe some white Oakley shades and a flat brim trucker cap, just to make sure I have all the bases...

How do you go about making power only in the front axles?

I watched that too. I'm sure the tow rig has an atlas. But I think I heard them telling the Jeep driver to lock the parking brake when he was trying that 'front pull only' maneuver. And I also thought I saw him fiddling with some switches on the windshield frame, maybe to unlock the rear. Maybe...

    Plein Air Painting

You might try posting this question in a more Overlanding oriented forum. I've seen some really cool awning systems on some of those rigs. Also, beautiful work. My Mom was a very talented artist. That gene must skip a generation, as I can't draw a straight line. But I do have a red Jeep.

What is the best Suzuki Samurai forum?

A buddy of mine has wanted a Samurai forever. He finally found one in pretty close to stock condition, and really clean. He was asking me how much it was worth. And since I know absolutely zip about Samurais, I was of no help whatsoever. I told him to check the samurai forums, and he asked me...

What would you do to my Jeep if it were yours?

Lose the chrome tubes. Add a spare tire. How is you gearing/locker situation?

Not death wobble and probably not bump steer

Glad things are starting to go your way. I think you can rent a pulley puller from O'reilly.

Where do I buy a new front driveshaft?

Adams. Brand new shaft for not much more than it would cost to rebuild one.

    Savvy (nonexistent) customer service

I have nothing to add but nice rig, and nicer shop! Hopefully they sort this out for you.
