Yeah, replacing the rear main was how I messed up the cat. Not sure what I did wrong, because I did the the same job several years ago when I got it and the cat and seal both worked fine afterwards.

Alright, It's in. Sorry, I forgot to get pics. When I opened it, it looked like the cats were at the wrong angle to fit properly. Maybe that was because the two into one happens in the middle of the oil pan, as opposed to underneath the Cats. The flange clamps were robust, probably 3/8 inch...

Has anyone used these? I was replacing my rear main seal and somehow managed to damage one of the flanges to the manifold. If they are junk, what brand would you recommend that won't break the bank? I would like to replace all three cats. 2005 Rubicon 4.0 TIA...

Are they OE? I'd change them just due to age. I had a lot more miles on mine when I did them, and everything looked fine. But when I got the axle joints out, the grease was just black dough, and the bearings were starting to wear. Changing u-joints in the middle of BFE is not on my bucket list.

Pop the valve cover and see if the valves are opening and closing on #3. Like others have said, run a borescope down the sparkplug hole. They can be had for $30 on Amazon.

RA sent me 1/2 of a rear main seal recently and didn't have any more in stock. Return process was a PITA. Done with them.

How many miles are on it? Could be the pump going bad. Mine goes in Monday for a trans swap for that very reason. It has 151K.

Mine failed just like that. I went with your option 4, and could not be happier. The thing is a work of art. I already had a body lift.

That tank will probably save you 30 seconds of run time, after which the compressor is going to be at 100% duty cycle. Not worth the loss of space.

As to question 3. I reused my original CPS, as there are lot of reports of non-mopar replacements being unreliable. It Fired right up after installing the Crown OPDA.
