On this topic and your recent design thread, I’ve been wondering about your current avatar. Is that a frame side front track bar mount? If so, that seems stronger/more durable than stock. Using a fully captured heim joint in that orientation makes more sense to me for that purpose.

Like so many motor homes. Its fun to ID the cars that lights came from while you're cruising down I-5 for hours. My wife is also amused at how easily entertained I can be at times.

It took some reading, planning and reaching out to forum members like @skrelnik and @JMT who were both very helpful. Taking apart the interior and the wiring is a bit tedious which is maybe why I put it off. My wiring game is much improved these days so that helped. I do recommend the the BLAM...

I have neglected updating this thread with regard to my sound system for a few months (6 to be precise). I had been living with the PO’s Sony head unit and some mismatched aftermarket speakers since I picked up my TJ 5 years ago. The sound was tinny and mostly useless above parking lot speeds...

Yeah. Thats an issue. If I ever really decide I want that wheelbase, I would love to go the TJ6 route. Even with my TJ and my 1” higher than stock GR tank, that’s what I drag the most. Edit: so I guess a stretched TJ6?

I could see a stretch in the future but far enough away that I’ve decided to get corner armor on for now.

Good to know. The Rubicon was worse. That’s where I drug a corner last year.
