They have a sale right now and the kit comes loadad with shaft and SYE for under $600 delivered. I will not really rock at all but overland in a heavy camping rig. Will this due?

Call tom woods or adams driveshaft. They will tell you what you need. I got my sye and driveshaft from adams, and I think it was less than 600.

However, a need for a sye has more to do with your lift/drive shaft angle. How much lift are you running?

Make sure they have it in stock, first.
I ordered from them, they waited 2 weeks to update the ship date to a month later. A month later the ship date got moved to December.

Personally, I'm not a fan of buying a combined SYE and driveshaft kit. It's typically better to install the SYE, then measure for the appropriate driveshaft length and type. Also, it's best to rotate your rear pinion angle first, if needed, before taking the measurements. Tom Woods can help provide all the information you need, if you're unsure.

1. I don't think you'll find one person here that will endorse ordering a single thing from Morris.
2. not familiar with RT Offroad but a quick googling reveals they sell everything from soft tops to performance brake kits. They're probably re-branding someone else's SYE kit, I would want to know whose.
3. as has already been mentioned, it's better to buy them separately so you can get a driveshaft length selected specifically for your rig.
4. That's not a good enough price to justify dealing with Morris or an unproven parts manufacturer. You can get a SYE kit from JB conversions (who specializes in this sort of thing) for $199, and a driveshaft should be ~$330 shipped from TW.

When I bought mine some years back it was sold as a kit but they sent the SYE first then the driveshaft after i provided the measurement. I dont know if it really gets to ya any faster already being paid for but if you're gonna do a kit to save some dough, make sure it's a tom woods or Adam's shaft and that you have to provide the measurement. It's a pain to wait but key for getting the correct shaft.

If you plan on a tummy tuck in the future jb conversions is the way to go. Even if you are not getting a TT I’ll still vote for JB plus a Tom or adams drive shaft

Morris should be avoided like the plague. RT Offroad is the performance part of Crown Automotive. Some stuff is good like the SYE and some things could be better. I have seen some Adams shafts and they look ok.

I was waiting for seats from Morris for over a month. All I need for my jeep is these seats. They just pulled out of the deal telling me only that I will be refunded. I can't believe it, and will never deal with them again.

Here’s a link to Adams.

this is the link to the teraflex short kit. That’s the one that my jeep-expert neighbor recommended and it has been good to me.

As mentioned earlier, they will send you the kit first without the driveshaft. After you install it you call them with the exact distance between the transfer case yoke and the rear end, and they will send you the driveshaft. The driveshaft came super fast after I called them. And they may still send you a cool t-shirt too.

My brother in law ended up with my shirt somehow. I need to get another one.

i've had no issues with a JB SS and a T. Wood driveshaft.

Wood's willingness to work with you and their customer service is top notch, it's my 1st choice..
