Gear pattern check

Need some advice on gear pattern please. I finally got to working on my rear Dana super 35 again and after taking out around .025 from the pinion shims I think this pattern looks pretty good but wanted some more opinions and input please. This is my first attempt at doing my own gears and it wasn’t as bad as I thought although very tedious and time consuming.

You are on the right track. What is your backlash at? I would try adding .003 to the pinion and see what the pattern looks like.
 
That puts right at the verge of too deep. I would pull one or two thou and make sure you have no less the 8 thou backlash and you should be set.
