Well, I went and bought me a TAG Heuer Carrera because I've always loved them and just wanted one to be honest.
No more watches for a while, like my last gun? bawhahahahaha...sure
The large minutes shown on the outer edge of the inside of the dial pay tribute to Heuer's past for making stop watches.
The Carrera is still in production since its inception back in the 70s from TAG's sponsorship for Porsche racing.

I'm also a fan of nice watches. That's a great looking one for sure, from a high end maker.
I usually rely on my phone to tell time these days though, as getting dressed to leave the house has become less frequent and has involved more sweat pants and ball caps than nice watches.
My favorite watch to date was my Breitling Chronomat Evolution, which I sold a few years ago to pay rent and buy myself a nice mountain bike; the ex bought the watch, so I hardly ever wore it any more.

Thanks.
I would consider Heuer to be on the bottom rung of the luxury watch ladder.
Still a great watch and I really love TAGs designs and racing heritage.

I just cannot keep the watch promise, so I don't even bother now. Recently I am turning more to the small, indie companies. Here's my latest broken promise-they suckered me in with the 917/Gulf Racing theme and the single hand is actually pretty cool.

I like some Seikos as well, and I have a Blue Spark SCVS013 that I bought whilst in Tokyo back in the early 2000s. One of my favorite watches, very understated and versatile with a black, brown, or burgundy strap, as necessary. I don't have a current photo to share, and here is one from the web.

Ahhh, that's nice?? But, ahhh, how do you tell the time? Seems to be missing a few hands...:)

Haven’t worn a watch in 20 years… have a Heuer pre TAG in a drawer somewhere. I had the battery removed, advice from a friend.
Freedom from a watch is good stuff 🤓

My daughter bought me a 19.95 Timex as a joke for Christmas 😉

I may have read that wrong. I thought it read you wanted to see the last in line.
