Hi Folks-

When I purchased my 2005 Rubiharra it already had a 2.5 inch OME lift/suspension system on it. I have since installed a set of KO2 33's.

It drives just fine, but as others have said in previous threads, my current lift is not enough to utilize the full articulation of the suspension system with 33's.

I would ask if someone could post a link to a good and easy to install body lift to provide the correct level of minimum lift. Is the correct recommended lift height still 1" - 1.25"? Any other considerations? The posts I have read have led me to belive that I do not need a SYE kit- is this assumption correct?

Thanks for your recommendations.

It's not in stock, but wait for Savvy. It is an easy install and the best design I've installed.

Great info and thank you. I will order this as soon as it comes back in-stock. Based on my description am I on the right track here? and finally, I assume my lift is not radical enough to need a SYE kit or any other mods/changes, correct?

Order it now. I backordered and got it in about a month.

For your LJ Rubicon, it is indeed unlikely that you would need an SYE for a 2.5" OME lift. However, a 1" mml would further decrease the odds of needing an SYE, and would complement the body lift by eliminating the need to modify the fan shroud.

Thank you -could you recommend a MML kit?

I've had several different types (M.O.R.E, Brown Dog, etc.), which don't reduce engine vibrations like the stock mounts. Your best bet is to stick with the stock mounts and add 1" aluminum blocks, like this Savvy set below. FWIW, one of the big differences between the Savvy MML and other "Made in China" versions, like the second link, is the quality of the hardware. In the end, your choice though!

Savvy 1" motor mount spacers that utilize the factory mounts to eliminate possible vibrations. If your existing motor mount bushings are shot I'd go for the 1" rubber Mountain Offroad Enterprises (aka M.O.R.E.) "Bombproof" motor mount lifts. Avoid Brown Dog MMLs, avoid any with polyurethane bushings. :)

Thank Jerry- Good luck w/ your move ordering these spacers now!

I used MORE long before there was Savvy and have had no issues with it.
I keep wondering if I swap my Brown Dog MML for spacers and stock mm if it will actually improve idle vibes.

I have MORE body lift, easy install and happy with it. I also have MORE MML (the BombProof Torsion ones), tricky to install on one side but absolutely no increase in vibration versus the stock ones they replaced.

I did this and didn't notice any significant change. Others can probably speak to this one, but the biggest introduction of idle vibrations for me was the Savvy UA. The stock trans mount had more isolating rubber than the UA, at least that's my theory.

IIRC it was the Savvy MUA that brought on more idle vibrations for me as well. I’m hesitant to go change the MML just to see if it decreases vibes when I’m not convinced the Brown Dog are all that bad.
