So what else were the graphite and silver grey eccos i have used on? they were on my build sheet and not the usual for the 65th?

I bought a set (5) of graphite Eccos off a guy who had them on his dark blue TJ Columbia Edition. I believe they were original. I put 2 of them on one trailer and the other 3 will be going on another trailer I'm building.

Thanks, looked an obvious choice for my 65th to me as they compliment the interior colours but jeep probably just use up TJ parts getting ready for the JK :)

Little update... the wheels looked nice and glossy/shiny ONLY when they were wet. They looked VERY dull and less shiny, almost like a matte silver, the other 99% of the time. So I knew that had the potential to look nicer...

Yesterday and today, I used a foam polisher on a drill that came with a headlight restoration kit I had sitting around. Used a round of turtle wax cutting compound then another round of turtle wax polishing compound. HUGE difference and I am pretty happy with the results - looks better in person than the pics show.

Not as good as paying a service to blast, paint, machine, and clearcoat to new condition but it should get me by for a while.

Now that they are looking better, I am really liking the Canyons even more. Normally I have only seen them in faded non-shiny condition and it makes all the difference.

Time to get the rest of the Jeep spiffed up once the weather warms up!

Those wheels look sharp! You’ll probably get to the dreaded faded flares soon.
Don’t get it too nice, someone might want to borrow it, permanently!!
Thank you- I for sure need to do something with the flares.

Gave them (the wheels) a wax job today with turtle wax (Pretty much looks the same). Guess I am now complete as far as prettying them up. Nothing else I can possibly do, short of stripping the clearcoat.

I think they are looking pretty good today even though it is 100% cloudy and no sun for the pop.

On a side note: I was driving to go pickup some Ecco wheels from FB marketplace earlier this week and someone rear ended me at a stoplight and totalled my daily driver car that I love.

Never did go back to get those wheels yet...

Found some interesting Canyon photos on the web yesterday:

Polished- ya not the first time it's been done but still interesting to see.

8" wide with tiny tires 215-75-15. Doesn't look bad as I would expect.
