The older cars just seem to have something that the modern cars lack......character and soul.
Style, class, to some degree durability (not as much reliability)

Old vs new, you really can't compare. There's trade off either direction.

I agree, I think the largest factor to longevity is fuel injection. If old cars had F.I. many would still be here today.
On the flip side how long would your new JT Gladiator last if every morning start up included pumping the accelerator a couple times dumping raw fuel
into the cylinders then hoping the automatic choke would actually pull off quickly so your not driving around town for 20 minutes at a 7 to 1 air fuel mixture.:unsure:
