I am helping my neighbor install a soft top on his 04 Rubi TJ. Problem I have is the Body has been replaced and we have no clue what year TJ it is . It seems that they make two different Pivot brackets that attach to the roll bar for the bows to attach to . The 97-02 are flat while the 03-06 have sort of ribs . I would guess the ribs were to increase strength maybe for the Sunrider top availability and the LJ ,just a guess . Other than the ribs and the price being 3x as much is their any reason either bracket would work no matter the year thanks
