In my effort to decide what lift and tire combination to go with I looked for pictures to give me an idea of what my jeep would look like. I had some trouble finding some good pictures. So, here are a couple of my '06 TJ with a 3" Teraflex lift on 32 X 11.50 KM3's.

The proportions look pretty good to me. I never had a 32" tire, only 31, 33, 35, but I hope to do a 32" on 3" lift in the future, tuck it, lock, raised body mounts, and run it all over.

Looks good. Question: could you fit 33" tires? If so, why not go with 33's?

Most everyone that I talked to told me that I needed a 4 inch lift for 33 inch tires. It looks like there is plenty of room for them with a 3 inch lift.

A 3" lift isn't quite enough lift for 33s and anything offroad (for most). I had a Jeep with 33s and a 3" lift and another with 33s and 5.25" total lift.
p.s. I even bought one with 33s and no lift. Speed bumps at Walmart were a bitch to maneuver. Thank God it was an auto. ;)
