Do I need a manual transmission skid plate for 32RH to AX15 swap?

So i installed the ax15 instead of dead 32rh. The transmission mount is from manual ax15 doesnt want to marry with 32rh skid plate. Do i need manual skid plate also? Eventhough i gooogle for "manual jeep tj skid plate" it keeps showing the skid plate now i own. Is there any difference between 2 transmissions skid plates?

My tj has a lift i am not sure how tall, but pretty tall. I had to put washers to skid plate bolts when automatic was still there. Now i decided to ditch them
 
The transmission mounts on the skidplate are in different locations for the 32RH and AX-15, you have to move the mount. Later model year skids provided additional mounting bolt holes so they could be moved. The one that came on my '97 did not so I had to weld the 32RH mount into place after converting from the AX-15.
 
Hey All, 32Rh transmission,1999 TJ Automatic. Three of four transmission mount nuts aren't budging.
My question - am i supposed to remove these or the two larger nuts behind the plate? (see video)
Is it possible I can leave on the mount and remove the transmission with it attached? I'd have to be careful with those exposed bolt threads.

I have one stripped nut on the transmission mount. Cannot remove it. Have attempted several tactics including metal chisel. Is it dangerous to use a blow torch to loosen the nut? I'm concerned for flammability of oils/fluids and damaging the rubber portion of the transmission mount. Thanks
 
If you replace the mount, get the mopar one, not the Chinese knockoff.

I replaced mine with a made in China version and the rubber cracked after about 2 years causing the tranny to rock side to side when I accelerated too quickly.

Well, I'm completely stumped as to what to do next on this transmission mount removal. Chiseling has only malformed the metal so much, even if I am able to remove the bolt, what remains of the nut has possibly locked the mount? Any help or advice greatly appreciated. I may need to remove the transmission with this mount attached and somehow deal with it post-removal. Thanks.

You only need to through one.

Brilliant, Jerry. It worked! My gosh, that whole ordeal was not anticipated! LOL Never thought to use a reciprocating saw on a vehicle - that's a first. I know it was a dumb question asking to saw through all four bolts, yet in my situation, the troubling nut seemed to have pinch up in that corner, so I ended up sawing through all but one.

Thank you again for replying and suggestion. I've a jack stand under the oil pan to support the weight while disconnecting the transmission and it seems keeping it supported with the hanger support on the exhaust pipe is probably needed until up to lowering the transmission down. Thanks again!

My question would be from this pic, what do I need to do in order to get this mount right? I swapped from ax5 to auto. My skid plate has the same bracket mounted to the skid that this picture showed, then the mount on the bottom of the tranny. But putting the two together shoves the tranny up about 1.5” too high. So how and where do you move the mount?
