Wise ones,

I’ve been throwing the miles on the ol’e TJ since my JL is in the shop getting fixed after crossing paths with a 16 year old on the road.

As y’all all know, North Texas got hammered with a half years rain over night. If you want to find out if you have any leaks, drive in a storm like that! Anyways, I found out my lift gate retainer and seal were leaking and my carpets were saturated. I pulled the carpets, dried Big Red out and have been driving around with no carpet while I wait on my new seals and bedrug to come in.

I noticed yesterday that I’ve developed a massively annoying squeak. My daughters are telling me it’s coming from my seat, and I want to believe them as when I drive it sounds like it’s coming from under the dash and then behind me. What I do know is it’s on my side of the tub. I also realize yesterday there was a busted bushing in the driver side floor pan. I’ve attached a picture of the bushing and a quick video so y’all can experience the pain in my ears.

Can someone point me in the right direction before I shove and ice pick through my ears?

I’m guessing those are a different brand than Stable Seats.

Have you tried those? If so, how is their longevity?

I have the stable seats ones and their doing ok. I more used that add to show you where your bushing was from and not so much as a recommendation ! if you use stable seats be sure to get the ones for your year of seat bases. they make 2 different sets 97-02 and 03-06 I believe it is.

Yeah, I’ve gone through a couple sets for my ’06. They just break apart in under a year.

Maybe I need to lose weight. LOL
