I'm working on re-gearing my rear dana 44 (Just blew it up) and got a ring and pinion from marketplace for a dana 44 trac lok. I did not know that the 03-06 models (54703 from catalog) were different then the 02 diff that I have, the holes are 7/16"-20 insead of 3/8"-24. Would I be able to drill the holes out from 3/8" to 7/16"? I don't have drawings so I don't know if there were any other changes, otherwise I'll probably just get another set.
EDIT:
I just found a set of 3.73 ring + pinion that has holes drilled for 3/8" and 7/16", this makes me believe that the only difference is the holes.
